Little Dessert Shop Hodge Hill

Nice little dessert shop around the corner, been a regular local customer for few years now as kids love their milkshakes and cookie dough, although I find cookie doughs are a bit too sweet to my taste but other than that, everything is just great, staffs are very helpful and polite too. I like the ambience, small but cosy. Parking: Free parking, in the evening there are plenty of empty spaces. Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly.

Surprised that this is the quality of the food for the “UK’s most viral dessert place”. Overhyped that’s for sure. The waffle literally felt and taste like rubber, barely any chocolate/toppings, and the milkshake was 80% ice 20% chocolate. Tasted like something you could get from Costa. Given the prices and the commotion around LDS I was expecting so much more :/

Gorgeous food. They did miss something off my delivery, however, they were happy to send the missing item quickly!! Just lovely couldn't recommend enough!

Placed an order on Uber eats. Dealt with Zayna shoutout to her for sorting me out. Keep up the good work.

Overrated and overpriced. Been to plenty of other LDS franchises in the past but now realising that there are many other better, more reasonably priced options with better food. For this branch in particular, the place looks quite dull tucked away in a corner - no wonder you hardly ever see any customers here

The worst loaded strawberries i’ve ever had, the chocolate was watery and had no flavour to it, better of going to the bullring branch

This lovely gift was received off my wife for valentine's day. They looked amazing and tasted wow wow wow. Really can't fault the look and quality of these. But my wife did say that there was service issues with saying they could be delivered only finding out that incorrect. Also when in the shop, staff were unsure of the order. My wife also purchased ice cream and an lovely tasting milk shake, but this was only made with full fat milk, and the staff were unsure about this and it wasn't stated anywhere. Asked me to pay by transferring from my account directly. (??) Food gave me a stomach ache. However the local Apnas may have a stronger immune system and can handle it - judging by the reviews.

Small little quaint spot. No card machine so you pay through bank transfer which isn't much problem for me. We didn't eat inside as its quite small so not very intimate and the music being played is extremely loud. You cannot have a conversation without yelling. Food was served at a standard time. The ice cream which was served was very icy. Not sure how to explain but had like icy bits on it not how ice cream should usually be Parking: We came at around 7pm I think so the car park was fairly empty. Not sure how it's usually like. Parking was 2 hours free Kid-friendliness: Loud music and for majority of the time I was there, it was drill music so hardly recommended place for a child

While the deserts are trendy and the price reflected that, the experience was unfortunately very disappointing. However, the main reason for my low rating is the consistently poor customer service I've experienced across multiple visits. Long wait times . On my latest visit, I waited 40 minutes between placing my phone order and even having it taken at the restaurant. Apparently, my order hadn't been communicated to the kitchen, which is simply unacceptable. Dismissive Staff members seem primarily focused on online orders, leaving in-person customers waiting for over 5 minutes by the till without even an acknowledgment. This is particularly frustrating considering the higher price point. Despite these issues, the restaurant remains popular, hence my decision to share my experience. I hope highlighting these concerns will encourage them to improve their service and food quality
