Fantastic little place! Great place to sit and relax with absolutely delicious food. Good coffee too.
Very cute and cozy but pastry quality has gone down since they changed locations. Great coffee.
My wife and I were here last night with my Rotary Club as the last stop of our club's yearly Old Town Progressive Dinner. This was my first time at their new location after leaving Old Town Square. The atmosphere was so friendly and quaint. I had their apple compote for dessert as did my wife. It was delicious. My cappuccino was perfect as was my wife's tea. It was so rewarding to support a locally owned coffee shop instead of a chain. Give this independent coffee shop a try the next time you are in the mood for a cappuccino!
I once had the pleasure of living down the street from Amy’s Bread in Hell’s Kitchen NYC (if you know, you understand)… Little Bird Bakeshop instantly takes me back there. Such amazing pastries and the new location is arguably better overall. I wish there were more “comfy” seats to add to the few armchairs scattered around and I’d love if someone here made homemade black & white cookies. Some staff, definitely not all, seemed a bit uninterested in being there… maybe they shouldn’t be. Overall such a great place to have here.
Changing my review since they have moved locations - the old town location used to be a regular stop for me. Since they have moved, I’ve gone three times. Each time the line is very long and tables are all full. So I’ve ended up taking things to go. However, each time I have been to the new location the selection is very limited. Its quite disappointing as I used to be able to get a pretty good assortment. Then today, tried going around noon and ended up leaving because there was almost nothing left. I’m happy for the new space but it seems like demand is too high for them to keep the bakery case well stocked. Lastly, similar to other reviews, I will echo the sentiment that staff seems annoyed to be there. Makes for an uncomfortable transaction.
Beautiful old house with a lot of original woodwork and fixtures. Very cozy and delightful! I wish they had table service, but it's super sweet as is. ❤️
Horrible. Awful atmosphere, let me paint a picture. I walk in and automatically I am presented with dirty looks. I continue my way to the back to order and me and my partner are stared at like we are headlights to a deer. We order and sit down and get more dirty looks like we our from out of this world. Then go back to grab our food and the staff stare at us like we look crazy. It was awful our “hot” drinks were cold and our food didn’t taste quite right. I have been thinking about all the possibilities of why we would get treated this way and the only thing I can think of is that me and my partner are clearly brown and all the staff and customers were white, and openly chatting about religion as they looked at us. Never felt so uncomfortable!
Great coffee and food, amazing house. The decor is a bit cheesy, especially the upstairs. Feels too Easter Sunday vibe, imo. Will hopefully improve over time, just isn’t cozy like it could be.
I visited little bird just for gluten-free brownies. The brownies were the best gluten-free brownies I have ever had! The texture, flavors and moisture were absolutely perfect. I wish that I could give the customer service the same stars, but two different employees made eye contact with me and turned away to have conversations with other employees. I stood there for several minutes before someone asked if they could help. That employe was very helpful.
