Food was great, ambiance is very nice, our server was literally a Ray of sunshine and everyone on the team made us feel welcome. We shared 5 plates, the brussels and the carrots were great sides or starters. Their bread had a great crust. The burrata and beets greens was very tasty and went superbly on the bread. The albacore is sashimi style cooked on the outside and delicious. Interesting cocktails and beers. We will be back!

Definitely a destination dinner place, ie. Special occasions, family treat, etc. From start (we did not have reservations - recommended, just in case)! Wait staff SO professional, food worth the cost, general experience SO GOOD! Inside dining area, a very cozy mission/ bungalow vibe with low lighting and candles....atmosphere galore.

First of all, it's open on a Monday which is a little unusual for your average fine dining establishment. Five stars for being open on Mondays. I also liked the 'inside a craftsman" aspect, since my date had recently reminisced about a similarly designed place in San Diego that we went to years ago. Another nice part is the liquor license and fully stocked bar, plenty of la spots are beet and wine only. The food choices were great, very hearty. The chicken liver app was a stand out and the mains (pork chop, fish and chips, shrimp and grits) were warmly received. The shrimp and grits were a little too "spicy" but I use the term in quotes because of the sensitivity of the palate of the diner. Vegetarian options: They had a veggie pasta and a polenta mushroom dish. Parking: Tiny lot, Street parking is easy. Kid-friendliness: We saw school age children Wheelchair accessibility: They must have a ramp somewhere.
