First time trying soulfood, Good chicken and cornbread. I got the lunch special, 1 meat, 2 sides, drink and cornbread for less than $9

Not all that . & didn’t pack all my sides in my to go bag . Customer service mediocre . & they move slow .

Food and customer service were awesome. I think it was the time of day that I visited this establishment that was a bummer because some dishes were no longer available... and I am sure it was because of the time of day. All was well!

Too expensive $32 for oxtail plate is crazy!!

Went and got something to eat from here on Friday bc I heard so many good things bout this spot… got the meatloaf plate and a pork chop plate with yams Mac n cheese greens okra and Kool aid.. the kool aid was the highlight of both meals the yams tasted like it was pumpkin mixed with a a lot of nutmeg. Meat loaf was actually good but that Sauce was very runny the Mac n cheese def tastes like box… pork chop was half seasoned the greens tastes like I’m still trying to figure out.. the cornbread was dry. The fried okra was good tho that’s was very seasoned but I did not enjoy the food
