Lioni Italian Heroes

This was a fantastic experience and meal I would definitely go back all the ingredients were so fresh and I got the real Italian sandwich that I was looking for.

Very disappointed in Lioni's to say the least. My fiance and I have been regular weekend customers going on two years, as we visit my parents in Brooklyn. We even had Lioni's cater our engagement party. The past few months, we've noticed a dramatic decline in the portion of meat in their sandwiches. It's understandable to a degree with rising costs due to inflation. Well today we ordered two sandwiches (#111, Leo Dicaprio) for lunch on our way to my parents. We were shocked to find out that each sandwich had a grand total of 1 slice of roast beef, 1 slice of fried eggplant, a thin sliver of mozarella cheese, and some roasted tomato and balsamic vinegrette for $21 per sandwich. We lost our appetite eating such a sorry sandwich. The atmosphere and service also leaves a lot to be desired as well. We waited five minutes before we were addressed by a high schooler, who had no discernable experience in customer service, to take our order. He was working the cashier and kitchen at the same time. Simultaneously, there were two other children running around in the kitchen and all the staff were busy chitchatting. What a fall from grace for Lioni's. We won't be spending another dollar at this establishment with such dishonest business practices and blatant disregard for their customers.
