The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The food half of the food was ok. The grouper and the snapper were good. The 2 of us that got the black and blue skirt stake got a VERY tough piece of meat. It was cooked to the level we asked, but it was so tough my first bite I thought I was going to choke. After that, I cut it into tiny pieces and still had to chew it 50 or 60 times to be able to swallow it. I know skirt stake is sometimes a tougher cut, but this wasn't even in the top 40, and I have only had it 40 times. The seasonings were nice. We started with the tuna tower, and that was good. The brussel sprouts and grilled asparagus were both very good. Good thing the blood orange margaritas were great. Didn't make up for the entrées not being up to standard at $100 a person, but we had a fun time. We had desert somewhere else.
Outstanding Coastal Cuisine Chef Emerson Frisbee Is Always On Point
Beautiful restaurant. We sat at the bar for a date night. Crispy rock shrimp were bomb. Highly recommend!
My second time at Lionfish in the last year. Went there prior to a night out on Atlantic Ave. Nothing has changed in the last year, service was wonderful, food was yummy, highly recommend the hot rocks with wagyu strips, grouper and the dragon roll. Excellent!!
A wonderfully surprising gem of a restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. The atmosphere was romantic and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. Trevor made us feel at home and made sure that our every need was met without being overbearing. It isn’t inexpensive, but on Tuesdays, there is an all day happy hour selection available for seating at the high top and bar.
