Wow, I’ve finally found the best coffee experience in California. Had a great Cortado then a really well balanced Double Espresso Macchiato as well as a delicious Veggie Breakfast Burrito. An all female barista team producing truly great coffee. Excellent start to the day!

Great place, the iced Peacha summer drink was fantastic, staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere is æsthetic and relaxing. Would definitely come back!

Amazing cappuccino, friendly staff. It is in a church but it's a separate business. Just keep in mind it maybe a lil busy on Sunday. All coffee in the area is priced about the same. One of the best cappuccinos I've had though.

In this specific political moment, I'll admit an apprehension to purchasing church coffee. Even with some light research, I'm not too sure what exactly it is that they donate their proceeds to, other than what seems like mission work in coffee growing countries. Despite this, L&L serves some pretty dang good coffee with unique flavor profiles. The people behind the counter clearly know what they're doing; I've been visiting fairly regularly for the better part of a month and haven't had a bad drink yet. This could also speak to the quality of the roast (I'm dreading running out of their Columbian light roast on my home setup; it brews incredibly well, even when I screw it up). I've heard something about the roaster here involved with Portola's Theorem-- an intrepid coffee cocktail bar at the beginning of what would become the current coffee culture in OC. That is all to say that, with cautious optimism, I am excited to explore L&L's offerings.
