Excellent chicken salad sandwich

If you are on a first date, don’t get the egg and avocado sandwich. The egg is soo drippy and slippery that it will slide out of your sandwich at every bite making you look like a toddler eating their first sandwich ever. I do wish it had some other ingredient to give it some substance rather a very soft egg and guacamole to give it something to chew on with a different texture. Ya know that I mean? Since the soft filling made it feel like I was eating mainly bread, I removed a slice and ate it like toast, was pretty good that way, the jalapeño was mild so it gave it just enough flavor. Coffee was good, the barista is a whole ninja, I’ve never seen a barista so relaxed during a weekend rush our. He was chilling while orders were being taken and he would wip them out so fast and was like “Is that all you got?” While waiting for the next order to be placed. I also got a chocolate chip cookie, it was gooey and crunchy in all the right places. Definitely tasted like a gourmet cookie. I’ll look forward to trying more sandwiches from this spot.

At first I was nervous by the limited selection but boy do they know what they’re doing. I ordered the broccoli ricotta sandwich out of curiosity and it was game changing. Lemony, sweet and spicy with just the right amount of crunch. They also have fried broccoli as a side and if it’s prepared the same way that may become a new weekly staple. You can order meatballs as well- one for 3.50. They have a soup of the day that looked delicious. Will have to return for more.
