Lima Criolla

You need to eat the soup. Chupe de la Limena! I was surprised how delicious it was. You have to order this if you come here. It is loaded with ingredients and the flavor is out of this world.

Sadly the food has not been good the past few times we have come here. The lomo saltado was awful. It tasted like each ingredient was cooked separately and then thrown together before plating. The steak was not seasoned and the tomatoes were hardly cooked. The fries were just french fries thrown on the side - not mixed in or cooked with the rest of the ingredients. I don't think they even used any soy sauce in the dish. Super disappointed. I told my husband I think the chef/cook is different bc the food is not as good as it used to be. My husband had the aji de gallina - it was subpar. It tasted watered down. The causa was good and my husband had a pisco sour that he enjoyed. The service was not good - I had to ask for our appetizer (causa) which was sitting in the window for 10 mins, our water was never refilled, had to find the waiter to pay the bill. He came by the table once when we were 3/4ths done with our meal. At that point I just wanted to get done and leave. The decline in the taste of the food combined with the big increase in menu prices (for subpar food) may take this restaurant off our list.

Great food & great service. More casual than I'd hoped to see.

Tables setup like a cafeteria all in a row. Food was good and service consistent.

Muy bueno el ceviche , pero le falta el chifles para ser aún más el lugar peruano , y el arroz con mariscos el precio es una exageración para la poca porción que sirven y con tres camarones nada más que contiene ese plato , solo recomiendo el ceviche ya que es fresco el pescado y la preparación es al momento . El arroz con marisco le doy un 0 .
