We had a sumptuous, simple and relaxing lunch during a cloudy day in the gorgeous front porch of Lilian’s at the Inn. Great service, beautiful location and fantastic design inside at the bar and restaurant. Is it pricey? Sure. But it’s worth it. Avocado herb sandwich was delicious. Frites were worth fighting for.
The Lilian's offers a wide array of menu choices, accommodating various dietary preferences and themes. Whether it's a formal gala or a casual gathering, they excel in tailoring menus to suit the occasion, ensuring a memorable culinary experience for guests.
The cavatelli and desserts were awesome. When Bowie’s ‘Young Americans’ and Steely Dan’s ‘Black Cow’ came on back to back over the stereo, the 5 star review was sealed
Didn't know what to expect but it turned out surprisingly good. When I first saw this place on hot new business on Yelp I figured let's give it a try because it already had some good reviews. It's in the nicest neighborhood in San Diego, inside a hotel, so my GPS took me to the back of the hotel and got lost while trying to find parking and the place. The salmon crudo tasted great. The wonderland dessert was creative. The lobster was a lot of work for a lot of nothing. The drinks were so-so. Price point wasn't horrible for a restaurant in the richest area in San Diego. Overall, I would come back again.
Dining at Lilian’s was a true pleasure! The design of the restaurant was amazing, not to mention the courtyard around in front of it. The drive there through the canyons was a little sus but once you enter that super cute neighborhood all lit up like a movie scene it really set the mood. The service was exceptional, we never had an half empty glass of soda or water on our table. The bumble bee dessert was absolutely deeeelicious.
clubhouse sandwich was average at best. The restaurant has no mayo? How do you serve burgers and have no mayo? Service was slow and not attentive to the needs of the table. Also no brunch menu.
Wow. So glad the Inn is back. The service was fun. Food was really good. The room is boisterous and festive. Definitely will be back. Often.
Chef Moira rocks! Her menu is amazing and the food, THE FOOD, is freakin unbelievable!
