Food was excellent, wait staff was friendly but we went on a Saturday night so it was a little too loud and crowded for us. But that was our only issue so if no one in your family has sensory issues its worth the stop.
This is the best restaurant to be honest whit you, food is pretty good, hibachi is amazing experience, actually we came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and we just mention that, and the chef bring us a fried ice cream, with the staff members with a Gong siging happy birthday nothing of this was planned, and they make it special. Ill be back on this restaurant for sure.
As locals we are always looking for a spot to eat. I’ve never been to lil Tokyo before so I figured we would give it a try. Service was great. They have a sign at the door saying 18% gratuity added so I was worried and we almost didn’t eat there. All I could think is the food and service will be terrible thankfully the service did not disappoint. Food on the other hand, steak and rice were really good but on par with every other hibachi restaurant the “ginger” salad was awful. It’s my favorite part so it was really disappointing.The dressing tasted of onions that left a flavor in your mouth for hours……literally hours. Sushi fell apart when we were picked it up. If based future visits on the waitress we would be back but for the price I think we will skip and go elsewhere. I also think you’d get more customers by not automatically putting gratuity. I’ve been a waitress many years and people tip on service. Reply to owner-my review was honest and your response should not be to attack me which is on par with how you respond to all negative reviews. We almost didn’t eat there and I regret we had. We didn’t sit at a hibachi table so hopefully our server didn’t have to share that tip. I understand you have a sign….i clearly mentioned it in my review. To me as a previous server it tells the customer not only are you going to get bad service but food as well. Thankfully only one of those were true. Based on your response I’m happy to change your review to match the others. As far as my review history goes I will have to work on that because the only time most people think to leave one is when the service isn’t great. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Edited to add in reply to owner- again my review was honest. I’m sorry you can’t take a honest review. Make better food and You won’t get negative ones. Good luck on your business model. And I simply pointed out the truth as well. We can go back and forth all day.
Very surprised outstanding for mall Sushi and I'm hard to please.
Very cool and relaxed atmosphere. Waitresses are so nice and chefs are very talented! And of course the food was amazing.
I visited a lot of hibachi restaurants and I always leave with a to go plate . When I visit this restaurant I was able to eat all my food in the restaurant . This restaurant doesn’t give you enough food for the price they charge you . I was hungry again in 2 hours .
Food was good. What I expected. Nothing stood out. We enjoyed ourselves.
