When your clients decide on Liholiho Yacht Club as the place to meet to design their future wedding rings Food is communal by nature, as a result, I was amazed by the fruitfulness our meeting yielded — as we departed, our spirits soared with inspiration and excitement for what’s to come
A chic take on Hawaiian food. We came based on a recommendation from Maui. We were expecting the food to be good considering how crowded it got within five minutes, but didn't expect it to be great. We were immediately blown away by the richness of the Local Ling Cod and its sauced, the tenderness of the Pork Shoulder Chop, and the savouriness of the fried rice with mixed in homemade spam. We'll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu.
We had a great time here! Food was fast, tasty and innovative. The service was really friendly and attentive. Would come back next time we are in town ❤️.
Simply WOW!! Amazing service and delicious food. Definitely coming back to try other items in the menu.
Solid 4.5 stars! Delicious, will go back for sure!
Place is packed. Food is pretty decent but a bit pricey for the location.
Though I've only eaten here once on a biref stint on the back of a funeral, Liholiho Yacht Club was a welcome oasis from the reality of reality. The first thing you experience while approaching the entrance is the word aloha in small hexagonal blue tiles. If you look up from there, you will be greeted with a view straight through the bar through the kitchen and out back to the trees. Once the wooden door is opened, your senses start to kick in even before you have checked in with the hostes. Natrual wood, yellows and browns fill the room as if you're transported to a 1970 N train heading to coney Island. Hanna, our waitress, didn't he usual explanation of the menu, get two apps, two entrees for two people, or, we have a tasting menu. Can you make it without pork or beef. I asked, you mean pescatarian she replied in the affirmative. It was at that point you know you are in for a treat, flexibility on the fly. We started with the ocean trout shashimi over a black sesame, chips and dip consisting of kimchi dip and trout roe, tumeric rice noodles, followed by croquettes, katsu swordfish, rendang curry cauliflower, the tasting menue consisted of no less than 8 courses for $85 per person. It was tipped off with baked Hawaii which was an orange chiffon cake and sorbet. The wait staff was warm, welcoming, and smiled, I didn't know people can do that! Overall, very impressed highly recommend the tasting menu. Very memorable.
