Everything was amazing. The staff. The chef. The atmosphere. Everything. Amazing. We would recommend the gnocchi, beef tacos, duck, pork belly. All simply amazing.

Such a great dining experience. From the staff to the food. Every dish was masterfully prepared and executed flawlessly. I’m more upset it took me 4 years to find out about this place. Reservation booked for next week already.

Wow! I’m so glad we ended up here finally! Liberty is such a great experience from start to finish. The staff make you feel like you’re home. They care and are knowledgeable. Watching the cooks prepare your food is amazing too. Tonight we tried many dishes- all great! Our favorite dish was the gnocchi! Our waters were continuously filled. Best restaurant in Fort Myers. Well done Liberty! We will see soon! Such a great concept- such great creativity throughout.

Every dish was fantastic and perfectly prepared and well crafted. The staff were great too, very upbeat, always smiling, attentive and helpful. A true hidden gem here in Fort Myers.

It took us awhile to get in because I kept trying to make reservations the night before, but once we figured it out and got in…oh my god this place was amazing. We ordered almost everything on the menu and have a bad dish. Can’t wait to go back!

A gem! Liberty has very tasty and creative menu and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve been here several times, and the meal and service are always exceptional. Highly recommend.

The only beef I have with this establishment is that I didn’t find it sooner. My wife and I were greeted immediately by the hostess, and shown to our seat that was labeled with our last name. This is a cozy dining experience, but the close quarters seating wasn’t uncomfortable by any means. Light music from the kitchen area charmed the space (2000s rap and hip hop), the sights and smells of the food being prepared was intoxicating. The front of house staff was quick with a warm welcome and explained the menu to the tee. Every single plate was prepared beautifully, the food was the absolute star of the show. Simple ingredients prepared in a masterful way. Salt, savory and sweet. The duck was incredible! I can’t wait to return. I can’t believe it took us so long to find some of the best food in Fort Myers. The cook said it best, “the inflection in your voice suggests that it was more than you expected”. While totally unassuming, it blew me away. Please stop in if you get a chance, you won’t regret it.

A+++! This place is a gem on all levels. The staff, amazing and engaging, attentive and very welcoming. The food tasted absolutely amazing. Like everything we had was spectacular. This was a special Valentine’s Day event with a fixed menu and everything that was prepared for us was so good. We will surely visit this amazing establishment again soon. If you ever want to provide an amazing culinary experience for a special someone in your life, make reservations at Liberty Alternative American in Ft. Myers. The chef/owners are locally known masters at their craft. The service is beyond remarkable. On our most recent visit, we were fortunate enough to have the 2 best seats in the house. Each dish we ordered was excellently prepared right before our eyes. (As well as every other guests orders). I could describe each dish in extreme detail, but I'll simply share the pics and let you know we will be back to try the rest of the menu. In no particular order, we had the 50 Layer Potatoes, the Octopus, the Lamb, the Bone Marrow Tacos, and for dessert the French toast. Just be prepared to be food envious of the table next to you while you dine in a quaint, 24-seat food paradise.
