Place is actually really good- thoroughly enjoyed every time I have ate at the restaurant but the first time I got takeout and I must say while the chicken parm sandwich is really good. EXTREMELY SKIMPY ON THE CHICKEN. THERE WAS ONE VERY SMALL AND THIN PIECE OF CHICKEN WITH BARELY ANY SAUCE OR CHEESE. IM NOT EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY IT WAS 3/4 BREAD ONLY.
Olive Garden quality for double the price. I got the eggplant parmigiana and some broccoli rabe. Both were disappointing. The eggplant parmigiana was deep fried, which I guess is fine if you’re into that, but I don’t. The sauce on the spaghetti it came with was way too sweet. That’s also preference but it’s not to my taste. Also the broccoli rabe was weirdly chopped up, oddly sour, and also oddly spicy. It’s not that I don’t like spice, I just found it mismatched for the dish.
Outrageously over priced. And way to upscale for the area. Have to make at least 100k a year to eat here
Thanks Paul for the recommendation and Patrick for making us feel like we were regulars! We had the blackened lemon shrimp appetizer, braised lamb special, and key lime fried ice-cream for dessert. Everything was to die for and service could not be more friendly.
A few days back I visited the establishment with my partner and a friend for a quick lunch. The food was average, the service was above average. Given the latter, my partner, who covered the bill, wrote-in a 25% tip while paying the full bill with a credit card. The next day we checked the cerdit card account to find the bill was posted but without the offered tip. He visisted the establishment to apologize to the wiater for the misshap and handed him his well deserved tip in cash. However, a day later the credit card bill was reposted inclusive of the tip. He approached the credit card company with the facts requesting a credit for the tip which he had already honored in cash. The establishment denied the facts and Bank of America (the credit card company) dismiss the claim based on his honesty and integrity. Sad! Honesty is so little valued in our society these days.
I love this little gem in my neighborhood, such good food, space is perfect, service also on point. I recommend anything on the menu.
Found this gem while spending days at Mt Sinai hospital after son’s surgery. The service was excellent…the food was delicious…and the playlist was perfect. We had the Manicotti and the Roman artichokes. I will definitely make a special trip to this humble yet refined spot.
Un bello lugar para comer probe una cerveza del happy hour y estaba bastante buena. Vegetarian options: Es Solamente un buen restaurante con opciones vegetarianas, y me cobraron extra por cada sustitución en algun plato
