Lewis Barbecue Greenville

Excellent brisket and great vibe! We didn’t know what to expect just knew we were told the food was amazing. Did not disappoint! Brisket was perfect, queso was amazing and nice size portion, mac and cheese was great. Banana pudding was good, not great but still good. Forgot to ask for the “pickled stuff” so I’ll be sure to next time!

REFUSED TO ACCOMMODATE ALLERGY I have a sesame allergy and was responded to horribly when I asked for my bread to be substituted for bread without sesame. The staff refused to believe that I was allergic to sesame and then charged me 3 dollars to buy a plain bun. The food was alright, but to pay 23 dollars for 2 slices of brisket and to be humiliated in front of everyone because of an allergy is ridiculous. Stay away from this establishment. This is not what food service should be like Never again

Best barbecue in the upstate! Consistent every time. Lunch specials should not be missed. Everything is fresh and hot, never dry. Brisket does not disappoint.

The barbecue is very good! One of my favorite was the brisket and the pork ribs. The Mac and Chesse was great one of my favorites. Potato salad was also good. The slaw is great. One thing you need to try is the green chile sausage! The staff were really friendly if it’s your first time they explain everything to you! I recommend this spot if you are in Greenville and you are craving some good BBQ!

I was in Austin and that was the best BBQ that I have ever had. I believe Lewis’ gets its style from that area. It’s quality is close to the bigger places in Austin and is worth a try. They trick you with the free sample of the brisket, haha. That’s a very good touch. Had their Monday loco special so got a taste of everything and got some sliced brisket and spicy link as well. Collards was my side and they are quite solid. All of it was very good. The link may be the weakest offering that I had but it’s certainly worth a shot to see if it’s for you. I’ll stick with the brisket and other meats and recommend giving this place a shot for your BBQ fix. Service was very good too.
