Les Foufounes Électriques

I discovered Les Foufounes in 1991 while attending a concert of Nirvana at Les Foufs. In those days, Le Foufs were the talk of the town (they did attract Nirvana in those days, so you can imagine how riveting Les Foufs were, at that time). I continued to go there regularly until 2000, then I did not get a change to go back there as I moved far from downtown Montreal. Recently, I needed my fix of nostalgia and decided to drop by last week. Things have changed, and that is normal, but it was a pleasure to see that Les Foufounes is still bustling, service as friendly as in the days and the whole place still really fun, and the drinks are not expensive.

Envie de lâcher ton fou? C’est la place! Une institution que je fréquente depuis les années 80! Des show mémorables d’la bière des beaux pétards autant dans le staff que dans la foule! Bienvenue au zoo urbain par excellence!! Une destination qui réconforte des blues de la métropole! Lovely
