Leopold’s Ice Cream at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport

I was sitting at the airport going home on emergency leave to attend my grandfather’s funeral. I have been so exhausted and stressed and the lovely Leopolds working came and sat next to me and asked what my favorite ice cream was. We made small talk for a bit and she goes “give me one second” and comes back with my favorite ice cream. “You looked stressed and I just want you to know that I noticed… somebody noticed.” I will forever regret not getting her name and will cherish this small interaction forever. So if you’re reading this… thank you. Truly

I stopped by today after visiting with my uncle for Christmas and was worried about flying back home, and thought ice cream might help. The girl behind the counter recommended mint chocolate chip, and it was really good. I think her name was Miranda? We talked about common interests and she was really cool. Amazing customer service, and if I fly in again in the future and stop at this airport, I'm definitely going back!

At the kiosk at gate 10. Young Lady needed a break but I was only one in line. I won't be buying Leopolds at any time in future. When you own your own biz you'll understand why. Only person in line take care of customer. Get a job at slackers are us.

Tried cookies2 child size & mint chocolate chip scoop Cookies was great, it’s cookie bits mixed in and actual cookie batter chunks too. The girl working was killin it, she was the only one there and the line stayed long. Fast and super friendly. She is also so pretty Generous scoops, the kids was plenty for me!

I am not sure if that is the same Leopold's as on Broughton st (huge line?) because ice creams we got were just ok, well I couldn't finish mine.. they taste flat and have weird milky aftertaste.. and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Service isn't too friendly as well.

After visiting Savannah 3 times and passing on this stop because the line was ridiculous, we decided to wait and try it out. The staff was very friendly and they brought out cups of water to everyone standing in line. Waited about 20mins. My wife and I agree, we didn't understand the hype. It was good but not the best we had ever had. We are not "foodies" but don't think we will wait again. *lost in the right direction youtube.
