Love Vivian. She created a wonderful restaurant. The grits were my favorite.
Blueberry wings were a tackle for a five yard loss. The ribeye and fries were a 60 yard touchdown pass with the ball in the air for fifty yards. The carrot cake was a miss on the extra point. Hard to leave it five stars after getting back to my room with the dessert. The steak was amazing but probably the worst carrot cake ive ever had.
Expectations were high given Vivian Howard connection but the whole experience was just like a thousand other farm to table restaurants. Very small menu with fairly average portions and presentation. Very small and obscure by the glass wine list. Unfiltered vertliner?! Mahi was perfectly prepared but sides were all over seasoned.Smashed sweet potato app is a salad on a near burnt potato skin without a good way to attack both. Small room that got very loud with very drunk people at bar continuously getting served. Our table was inches from a group of 3 lawyers who loudly told long stories about their workmates. Kennedy was a great server but brought us cold decaf coffee and didn't return for 15 minutes so no chance to replace. It's a hotel restaurant without a sense of regulars. Nothing special unfortunately. Parking: Easy validates parking across the street garage
I wish I could give them 10 stars! Everyone here is so sweet and go the extra mile. Their hot sauce is hands down one of the best hot sauces I’ve ever had. Kennedy was nice enough to ask chef Todd if I could buy some from them and he gave me a few ounces of it. Like who does that?! People who love what they do The food is so delicious. So much flavor! I had the burger and I was surprised it was on texas toast, amazing. The trout app was super flavorful and light, I love it. Come here if you want food that’s different and full of flavor. The service was the best part
Absolutely delicious food. We started with the s'mores and carrot cake and were not disappointed. So rich and delicious. We moved on to the fried sweet potato skins, topped with an arugula salad blend. So well balanced and fresh. The main course was the tomato pie. Honestly the best meal I've ever had in Charleston! Highly recommend!
beautiful spot, wonderful waitress, incredibly delicious food really made my and my parties night
