We had a great experience at this Legal Sea Foods! Meagan provided fantastic service and quickly corrected the one issue we had with the food (cold potatoes). We went on a Friday and it was oddly empty given that we had stopped by on a previous trip to Boston and it was packed. My wife got the blackened salmon which was delicious, especially with the garlic butter, and a few oysters; we would go back again just for that and the service experience. I got the fish and chips, which was decent, but nothing special. The breading was quite soft, rather than crunchy, and the entire thing fell apart very easily. Unfortunately, the drinks are quite expensive at $9 for a can of hard cider from East Boston; however, that didn't detract from the experience. Overall, we would absolutely go back especially since it is so close to the Hyatt next door.
Good food and service. A little pricey for what you get
I ordered a $42 fish platter which looked like something I could get from a regular fish and chips place. Not WORTH the money at all. For the price I was expecting a little more of flavor or something. A lot of the food was $30 and up I can say that the clam chowder has been one of the BEST I have ever had. The salmon was really good but the veggies were burned.. you might see the food eaten but we were hungry and gonna leave ♀️ what can you do you learn to be honest. Would I recommend this place or come again? NO!
Good food, and environment, but a bit too pricey for what u get
Cozier than your average Legal Sea. Nice booths and friendly bar area. Menu is a good solid variety of seafood prepared in a number of different styles. Cocktails are generous and well made. Be sure to have reservations if you're going on a night when any of the area theaters have a show. Parking: Don't drive, take the T.
