Lefty's Brick Bar

My wife and I live nearby at The Arnold and we used to love going to Lefty's with friends and colleagues on Fridays after, our tedious work week. The food, service, drinks, and music were always awesome but recently there has been a white female DJ who plays mostly explicit rap using the n word and derogatory words for women. No one ever dances or seems interested in her music. We find it offensive on many levels and when my wife requested cleaner music she was rudely denied. Hoping they find someone else or go back to their own playlists soon.

It seems cool, but the bartenders seemed too interested in themselves to actually help anyone. The barbacks seemed to understand this, but are obviously unable to help

The gold standard of a frozen margarita in my opinion. It is not cheap but it is excellent.

I came to this bar with a friend just a couple days ago. I ordered one drink that was only $17. However, the bartender charged me for my drink and my friend’s drink but I didn’t notice till I saw the end receipt right after I signed. I brought it to the bartender’s attention, she looked very annoyed and said “well why did you sign it”. I don’t feel I need to explain myself for her mistake. She didn’t say anything to me about getting me the money back and then just pushed another receipt at me to sign. I figured it was the refund but when I checked my card, she had just charged me again for another drink that I did not have. Not only was I overcharged and then double charged but I was also met with very rude service. The bar had great atmosphere but I wouldn’t go back.

Went there for a holiday Xmas themed cocktail. Drinks were cute, and decorations were kitschy but the music was a little too loud and drinks a little over priced. Def good for tourists or visiting family etc
