Favourite place for tea and coffee and amazing homemade cakes.
Excellent brunch. Having last visited several years ago, we were glad to see that Leaf was still there and as good as ever. If we only had one morning to have brunch on a visit to Liverpool, this is where we'd go.
Good ambiance, kind staff.
Was recommended here for breakfast but unfortunately we had a poor experience. We asked for 2 large coffees and a regular, all coffees came as regular and staff seemed reluctant to swap these even though we would be charged for large sizes. We asked for various syrups in the coffees of which weren’t included but by this time we didn’t want to cause any more trouble. I ordered the Nutella and clotted cream pancakes which were poor. The Nutella was cheap ice cream chocolate sauce? The other breakfasts that we had were okay but nothing outstanding. Very overpriced for the service and food quality unfortunately.
Went for breakfast service very poor food lacking in taste served luke warm toast served un toasted .
Place is nice but the breakfast was a letdown. Undercooked bacon, sausage and black pudding and barely warmed tomato. For £15 you expect better. Staff friendly but it took as long to pay the bill as it did to eat.
Julia and a lovely Swedish girl ( that I didn’t ask her name) took care of me and my friend, yesterday, when we visited for the lovely chai latte, made with loose tea. The girls were both, very friendly and even stopped by to have little chats. I have been going to the Leaf for the last, 6 years and it never disappoints in atmosphere, beautiful, friendly staff and gorgeous food and drinks. The best place x
