Leña at Mercado Little Spain

Solid burger but seems expensive just for the sake of being expensive. It was good but probably won’t crack the ones in my top 5 (7th street, smashed, Nowon etc) even though it is almost triple the price of some. Also of course the fries don’t come with it, classic 2024 NYC. Regardless a great setup in little Spain and a fun time!

Shout out to the entire staff for bringing simply the Best to its customers. The ambient, the food and the service exceeds expectations. Thank You for such an amazing experience. To Jorge, David, Barbara, Catherine & Gabriela; You are all Amazing.

SUPERB dining experience! My husband & I came for a late date night, 9:45pm Thursday, so the restaurant was nice & quiet and we were seated at a back corner table. Lena is a small corner of Little Spain which is more meat-centric with large selection of tapas and about 4-5 mains for 2ppl. The restaurant has bold red colors, high ceilings, & lovely tiled floors. We were greeted promptly by our lovely waitress who was very sweet, personable, attentive, & professional. We ordered 2 specialty cocktails and 6 tapas. We ordered the croquetas, gambas, grilled artichokes, pulpo, grilled lamb, & the grilled pork. For dessert we had the "heaven's bacon" which was like a light flan. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! The gambas was a little bit of work bc it came shells on & had to de-vein. This was a PERFECT date night and I HIGHLY recommend!

Beware First time at little Spain and thought this would be nice We Ordered the croquettes and they were over cooked and dark & hard also ordered the famous burger and was horribly greasy that it soaked the buns Will not come back Only good food was the coffee

One of the best burgers I've ever had. How is it not on all those best burgers in New York lists? One of the best steaks I've ever had. Comes out rare, I never eat my steak rare. WOW!!!!!

Strange menu.

Food was ok but service and atmosphere were great.

Fun restaurant to get some great tapas. The octopus was outstanding and the pan with tomatoes was good too.
