Perfect little spot to have a authentic French cuisine. Not stuffy, but quietly elegant. The food was superb. Hubby ordered the French onion soup to start, I have the sautéed pate de foi gras with a cherry reduction sauce. I was lucky enough to grab a Beef Bourguignon special that felt like I was at home in a French village.. The service was terrific and the food was really outstanding. We will definitely be back here.
Charming little French restaurant...food and service A++....been several times...never disappointed...
The food was tasty but not excellent - too heavy to be authentic French cooking, and the apple slices on my tart were really rubbery. The service was very prompt but crude; one server reached across the table to deliver an entree, others served and removed dishes from the same side, even though there was enough room around our too-tiny table to serve properly. One screamed in my ear multiple times not to touch my hot plate, even though I was only trying to communicate that she had put it down on top of my fork without apparently noticing it.
We used go to LeRivage frequently before Covid struck. I had forgotten how good it really is. Last night I had Steak AuPov. My wife had Crab Cakes. Both dishes were amazing. Wait till you try the side dishes and the deserts. The Amazing continues! On request, the Chef can make many of the menu offerings gluten free. I know it's a French restaurant but I is not a "lots of heavy creamy stuff" kind of place. Most of the dishes are quite lean and light. As the food came, the house salad is small. I'm thinking I should order more food, thank goodness I didn't. The French Onion soup is uniquely special, worth the trip there by itself. Then the main course with all the sides followed by dessert - OMG! I was stuffed and happy! Looking forward to our next visit.
The food is amazing and the staff are very professional.
Food was adequate. Air conditioning very unstable. Had to leave due to the heat. Rude waitress would not recommend
