What a fab place.

A small group of us in a cozy booth got super service from the staff. Everyone was happy with the authentic French menu. Thank you.

Pre theatre dinner so in a rush and could have done with main course arriving quicker but staff very pleasant Food ok- not particularly amazing or unique but ok Restaurant / ambience in basement really nice

First visit to this restaurant and I was impressed. Service is great and very affable staff. Food excellent and desert delicious. If going with a group like we did I would suggest the atmospheric side tables in the corners downstairs as more private and less staff pass you by.

We were downstairs in the dim, candlelit space; very moody and atmospheric. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Scallop starters were on cauliflower sauce and had a tart drizzle of sauce on top; very soft and satisfying. Beef bourguignon had excellent flavour sauce and the meat a little dry. Mussels were absolutely delicious and the cockerel was also lovely. The creme brulee had one of the best cracking off the brittle melted sugar on top. The lemon tart had wonderful zest and real lemon rind.
