Le Fantastique

I don't want to say much about this place because it is almost like a spoiler alert. Just go there and experience the full dining experience. And order the chicken breast! Other than that, let your heart decide what you want to try. The service is top notched and the atmosphere is cool. I recommend setting in the lounge for a more private experience. Yes this place is expensive but I am willing to come here again and bring friends :)

Great experience overall! Very accommodating when we called to let them know traffic was bad. Courteous and attentive wait service (thank you Occiano!) with no judgment around my allergies and nice options for my husband, who's vegetarian (he LOVED his meal). By the way, so did I! The lobster veloute was divine. The hirame was a texture playground--nothing short of amazing! The crunchy shrimp made my heart sing...I don't even like gulf shrimp. Music playlist was lovely. Ambiance/decor was equally lovely and wonderful to look at! I had a moment where I looked up at the glass candy dishes full of candle lights and remembered my grandmother, who passed during the pandemic. Thank you for that. A birthday dinner to remember! Vegetarian options: Not a veggie centric menu but enough options to make any vegetarian happy! Dietary restrictions: I have a lot of allergies and they made sure I knew which items I could order and enjoy. Wheelchair accessibility: No problems if you have mobility issues. No stairs and an easy entrance.

Le Fantastique was the best restaurant I've been to in a very long time! The food is so incredible, unique, and beautifully presented. I've never had such delicious sashimi, ever! They fly it in from Tokyo! Plus the bread is out of this world. It has such a great vibe too. I'll definitely come back!

This was an unforgettable experience for me and my family. As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed by the staff and the environment. From the decor to the dinnerware to the windows peering into the cold storage room where you could see the fish to be prepared and served hang drying; every aspect had so much thought and love poored in with the customers in mind. We ordered the chef's menu with a wine pairing which was just absolutely phenomenal (as many have already mentioned, their wine menu is not one to turn down). Each course builds through a crescendo to straight bliss as we navigate from the raw course to dessert with each course having their own complex flavors playing off of each other with every component. My son's favorite part about our San Francisco trip was "white" which we found out to be the hirame he had here at Le Fantastique. My youngest couldn't get enough of the bread and the caviar eclairs. My wife's favorite was the domestic wagyu which was mind blowing. I'm still trying to figure out how the creme fraiche chicken was so unbelievably tender! Before dessert arrived, I looked at my wife thinking there would be no way we could eat any more. We ended the night with the pavlova and white chocolate mousse which we devoured. Truly an experience to last my family a lifetime. This is a must stop destination and we are already talking about the next vacation to San Francisco just so we can eat here again

Amazing and unique food for a sophisticated palate. The service is friendly and personal. Can’t wait to go back!

I and my husband visited here for our anniversary dinner. Everything was beautifully executed! Row fish plates were my favorite ❤️ Wagu steak was absolutely excellent! The music was nice but I thought it was a bit too loud. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Comme d’autres avis, déçue. Je pense que les gens qui mettent une bonne note n’ont pas exploré beaucoup SF. Musique trop forte, lumière trop tamisée. Le service est aimable mais on nous a servi une entrée après les plats, on a pris de la truite crue en précisant que c’était pour une enfant et ils tout de même mis la dose en piment d’espelette. Le wagyu c’est juste 2 petites tranches de bon steak accompagné d’une pomme de terre grenaille ! J’ai mangé du wagyu de bien meilleure qualité et moins cher au Japon. C’était mon anniversaire et tout ce que j’ai eu c’est une carte signée de l’équipe, pas de bougie… c’est un peu triste. Nous étions vendredi soir et c’était vide. Je comprends… bref beaucoup d’espoir dans ce restaurant pour des plats ok mais sans grand intérêt au vu du prix. Clairement je ne recommande pas et je ne reviendrai pas.

Personally I never leave reviews for any restaurant however Le Fantastique is my favorite of all time. The staff is amazing all the time. Great food and the atmosphere is unmatched. Please don’t come here on a budget enjoy yourself and eat right. They have fresh seafood. My lady is addicted to the sashimi. I can’t stop eating their prawns neither it’s worth every dollar. Plus the chicken is amazing idk what sauce they top it with but woah it’s fly
