Excellent experience at the Lazy Dog! The wife and were in town and decided to give them a try. Everything about this restaurant was excellent! By the looks of the lunch crowd, I'm guessing it usually is. We live 150 miles east of Colorado Springs, near the Kansas border. The next time we're in town, we will definitely go back. Or any other city we see a Lazy Dog.
My food was burned and working in the food industry I know better to return it to the kitchen I probably will never eat there again. At least not that one I'll go to Aurora instead
First time and very happy. Two people. Late lunch. Cuban sandwich and Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich. Both sandwiches were served quick and no fuss. Noted the portions were quite reasonable for a change. Too many places pile on far too much food today. Keep the costs reasonable and lower the portions and waist lines is a better choice. Not a huge fan of the sweet potato tots after all but for those who indulge you'll be pleased. Fresh fries a better choice. Ice tea was never empty and a water crafe nice. Service was extremely good. Only negative may be the noise level is elevated- and this was at 3:30pm and only partially full. Happily return.
We always love this place, and right now (April 2024) they have a tasting menu going on, which is a great way to try things the chef is passionate about.
This place was amazing. There was a huge variety and the food is super fresh. Nick was an amazing server and provided lots of recommendations. He was very attentive and always came back to check on our group.
Food was excellent, service was astounding, the atmosphere was perfect for dining.
