Truly Michelin quality food and service. The menu is very inventive but at the same time captures local flavors as well as nostalgia. The staff is highly attentive and knowledgable of all of the food and beverage offerings, which is a lot of information to process. Despite the fine dining flavors and service, the restaurant is unpretentious with an inviting and cozy atmosphere and no formal dress code. You are treated like a guest, not a customer which is the level of service that should be expected when spending Michelin prices.
Had a lot of amazing meals in my time, but this was the best. The service was incredible, like really over the top incredible. We had a drink at Wildhawk nearby before and had joked in front of the bar tender there that I was tired and would love an espresso. She asked if we were going to Lazy Bear, then secretly alerted them of this ask. To our surprise when we walked in, there were two shots of espresso handed to us. That was just the start, as the rest of the evening was filled with awesome moment, impromptu drinks and extra bites as well as just incredible hospitality. The food, was of course, insane. It was top tier, but without feeling overly stuffy. It was earthy, grounded in reality and delicious. If anyone is looking for their first Michelin experience and is intimidated, this is where I’d send them.
GREAT FOOD. Service seemed to go downhill as the night went on. Would return.
Photos don't do this place justice. Finally got the chance to bring my mom here with me and she was absolutely delighted with every course. Well worth the splurge!
Really nice meal and experience, but definitely overpriced. I was expecting this to blow my socks off after everything I heard, and it was indeed very good, just nowhere near the hype and not worth the price we paid
