The food is great, the drinks too, good place good music

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a quick service. The nachos were great and really enjoy the unique drinks offered. highly recommend a meal at Lava Room.

So good! Fresh and to order. If you are craving a dessert, you can't go wrong here. And everyone is so friendly! Also my food allergies, they are so good to accommodate those. Even checking things I didn't think of. Very good!! Totally recommend!

Great space with cool vibes... I went to hear the Imaginaries and they delivered a powerful punch of sound that rocked the whole space. We really enjoyed the show as well as appetizers and flaming shots.

i went here with some friends tonight to see a band and the atmosphere was great and the food was great. we had a great time. the only issue i have is a big one. one of my friends called to ask if an employee could do a quick search for a VERY important item that we might've left behind and whoever answered the phone was extremely rude, didn't let my friend finish, and proceeded to hang up on her. considering we spent over $100 here tonight i expected better treatment of customers. highly disappointed.

The best food in town. The ramen, the bao, the bahn mi, the egg rolls, everything we've tried has been phenomenal! And the DESSERTS! We would come just for a dessert. The berry bao is so so good! But the kakigori! OMG! Absolutely divine! The service is great, atmosphere is great, the music is really great! And it's even affordable! I literally usually spend more at most fast food places! (Which has gotten to me choose Lava Room more often because it's so much better!) Also sodas and tea are free with your food with free refills. What? I have gone right at 4 when they open and around 6 and neither was too busy. The bar crowd doesn't really get in till a bit later and there's love music shows later too. I might go one night for the karaoke! Also I proposed to my girlfriend at the Lava Room and the bartender heard me say "she said yes" and repeated it louder and everyone cheered for us! Which is even nicer when I mention we're queer and this is a very queer inclusive space with pride flags behind the bar. It feels like all are welcome here! I haven't had a thing I didn't love. Go today! You'll be back, trust me! Vegetarian options: There's a build your own ramen and a veggie miso ramen. Dietary restrictions: My fiance is able to eat dairy free. There's a veggie broth option so you should be able to have a vegan ramen. Parking: It's street parking and it's on West Mobile ST so there's not a ton of spaces but we've had a spot every time we've gone. You can always park around the corner and it's near the new parking garage they're building. Kid-friendliness: It's a bar and restaurant combo. Not really for younger kids. I didn't recall a kids menu. I would take my 16 year old here but not a younger kid. It's a more adult venue. Wheelchair accessibility: As an ambulatory wheelchair user I'm fine. There's only high tops and the bar for dining, but there's a seating area with smaller round tables meant more for drinks where a wheelchair user could go in a pinch. I would love if the restaurant installed at least one dining table at normal height for accessibility.

The music is always great and I tried the egg rolls recently- 10/10 would recommend. I look forward to whatever I decide to try next time.
