Lava Coal-Fired Pizza

The food was piping hot, and tasty. I would have given a 5-star for the food but didn't really taste the smokiness that I would have expected from a coal stove.

They gave us the wrong pizza. We ordered half sausage, half bell peppers. Got red onions and tomatoes :( Was disappointed because by the time we got home, they had closed. We definitely should have checked but the place seemed empty when we picked up so we assumed it was correct.

I came here after not being there for a while, and pizza isn't the same. We loved this place because pizza dough was thin, crispy and delicious, like a more authentic italian pizza, but not any more. My pizza tonight was thick, doughy and dry, the sauce taste different, insipid, and underwhelming for my tastebuds. Honestly, I might as well have ordered Little Cesar's. If you want authentic tasting pizza, go somewhere else because this isn't it anymore. The owner and his mother who used to be there every night preparing the pizzas themselves were not there tonight wich lead me to believe perhaps this place changed owners, because the recipe for the dough and sauce didn't seem to be the same as a few months ago.

Ate here for the first time today, I don't know what the 1 star reviews are about. I got the T-Rex pizza, it was great! I came here based off the pictures of the food on Google and the pictures were accurate. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese, toppings, and the crust was great. I thought the price was good for the size of the pizza.

A great pizza place. Quaint and lovely. A friendly atmosphere.

This pizza it’s really good will switch pizza hut for lava pizza . I hope they add chorizo on the menu.
