This place is a great place to catch up with friends over dinner. We sat in the tent area, and I loved the ambience. There were heaters so you stay warm and pretty lights. Now for dinner, I had the LM Wedge Salad with Winter Squash with pork belly and it was pretty satisfying, it was the perfect balance. Also the deviled eggs were the perfect appetizer. My friends on the other hand have made some comments about the saltiness. One thought the steak was too salty and the other one said the scallops were too salty as well. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Of course it's their personal preference but i thought I should note it in the review. Overall, a good experience with great service. Would definitely come back.

Such a great place. We had the mushroom appetizer, which was phenomenal, and then split a pork chop and a NY Strip with some great sides. Service was fantastic and perfectly timed without hovering and the atmosphere was casual.

Mindful of my strict dietary needs. The steak was delicious and very fresh. My dish came with a mountain of lettuce but it was still yummy.

Been here many times over the years now, latest visit was this past Christmas Eve. Service is always impeccable and food is outstanding. Was hoping they would have a special Christmasy type cocktail that evening, since the butcher shop had been advertising egg nog for several days. But nothing special for the holiday was offered. I started with the deviled eggs that were very tasty. I had the ribeye, which was one of the best I've ever had, very little gristle. It was accompanied by the delicata squash with sour cherry mostarda, it wasn't my fav as the sour cherry overpowered the dish, leaving no squash taste. For dessert was the apple miso butterscotch cake with sour cream gelato and was delightful. One of the finer restaurants Portland has to offer, I'd say in the top 7 or 8.

I got the Hangar steak and my friend got the greens with the steak. We had the deviled eggs with the smoked trout roe for an appetizer and for dessert, we had the chocolate peanut butter mousse and the miso apple cake. Everything was PERFECT. I ordered my steak MR and it was so tender and delicious and again, perfectly cooked. Beautiful atmosphere and amazing service!

We love this restaurant! The food is top notch and the service is great. It is on the more pricey side, so we only go there for special occasions, but the quality of food is always worth the price for us.
