The way they cook their potatoes is interesting but I am not a fan. Their cheeseburger is surprisingly very yummy! The broth of the clams is also good. The panna cotta does not taste like panna cotta but instead tastes like yogurt. For breakfast I recommend the Fairmont Classic and Eggs Benedict. The pastries are also decent.
My husband and I went for breakfast and were very disappointed. My husband got the omelette and there was some weird almost fish-like substance in it. I got the French toast and it was dry and aside from the apples and maple syrup, it was pretty bland. The coffee was super bitter as was the orange juice. We barely ate any of it and our bill was $100. Service was pretty good. Overall atmosphere was dry.
Cocktails!!! Martini- very good
We ordered the Brussel sprouts, rigatoni, and ravioli. The food was pretty subpar and bland, nothing special. The mushrooms smelled fishy and moldy. We didn’t finish our food. I expected a lot more from this location given the venue is beautiful, but was unfortunately disappointed.
I had fond memories of this place from years ago so we went here for dinner last week when visiting family and couldn't have been more disappointed. The food was just gross with zero flavor. I was so disappointed that I wasted 1 of my 3 dinners in San Francisco on this place.
A very nice place to have breakfast. Peaceful ambience, a beautiful dining room, and good food, however the service had me wishing for more. Never offered drinks and when we finally flagged down our waiter after several attempts, we waited for a drink that never came. I was wondering if the cups were for water, but water was never poured. Very thankful our food came and we could enjoy a very nicely made breakfast, however even asking for the check was a struggle. I understand allowing your patrons to have a peaceful meal, but disappearing until you have them requesting a check from several staff is a bit much. However, the maitre d was very polite and entertained us while we waited a couple moments for seats. We had a wonderful time at the Fairmont; the overall experience is what's saving this from a 3/5 review.
I decided to dine here since Tonga Room was booked for the evening. Food was great, service was nice.
In the past, I've only had drinks at Laurel Court. Dining for the first time did not disappoint. Yesterday, after belly, laughing at Ali Wong, stand up at the Masonic, went to the Fairmont for drinks and dinner. At 9:30 PM 500 right now we were served delicious old fashioneds and some very pleasingly delicious food. The butter, lettuce, blue cheese, salad with bacon and thinly sliced apples. The dressing was rich yet not drenched over the salad . The mussels with a beautiful tomato sauce, chorizo, and the wonder French bread was super tasty and delicious. Lastly, the cheeseburger was a perfect medium rare with delightful, butter, lettuce, tomato, validation, Rhodes, and the softest, most buttery, tastiest brioche bun. Didn't know what I was missing. All the class at the Fairmont and delicious food and drinks at Laurel Court
