Las Pupusas

It's been awhile since I have eaten pupusas, and I really like it this restaurant, and the food was delicious and the service as well thanks. Ps try the sopa de patas Exelente.

BAD customer service. NEVER answer the phone .. Nd sometimes is closed. Nothing like before ...

I got here 2-09-24 around 6pm. I dine in. I order a horchata and a Caldo De Pata. They brought my Horchata and like 15 minutes. They brought out my. Food. It look pretty good and was wondering why the restaurant had a 3.1 score. When I squeeze the lemon on the Caldo and was mixing up all the flavors together a ROACH CAME OUT OF MY PLATE. They waiter was passing by and call her. Told her what is this? Her response was “oh my god” turn around and touch the plate inside. It was very disgusting. People please check were you it. We never know what they serve us. In my case, I guess I was lucky the ROACH CAME OUT OR ELSE I WOULD Have ATE IT. THIS IS THE FIRST REVIEW I EVER DO. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED GOT UP AND LEFT!

I come for the pupusas. If i were to find another good spot i would probably stop coming here. Lately, the pupusas have had the cheese pretty burnt, but I just take off that piece. I don't really like to eat in there because of the wait times. Whether there's a lot of people or not you're going to wait. The customer service really depends on who is in that day.

The Pupusas here are probably amongst the best in the city, I've tried a few other places and always end up back here for them. I've had other things like platanos and expanded here and they are also really well done. Sometimes the curtido is a bit off, over salted or sometimes really spicy as of late. Curtido historically isn't spicy, you can adjust it to your taste but it should never be a situation in your mouth of fire. The seating area can be a bit rough at times and the service is as expected when you only have so much staff. Food is great though and would always recommend it for a quick bite and a bit of Salvadoran cuisine. Just wish this place found a way to come back to life, it's just a bit dark and underwhelming. I'll always go for the food though.
