Be very aware!!! My friends phone got stolen last night. It was a packed Saturday night. This seems to be a regular occurrence at this place, based on reviews and people we talked to after realizing her phone is lost. I can’t believe I didn’t read the reviews I would have never gone to here. BE AWARE. Stay away. Some guy was talking to my friend and I believe some other person grabbed her phone from her purse. It seemed like a whole scheme.

Used to think this was the place for good food, drinks, and music. BUT NO NOT ANYMORE. I was dancing with my girlfriend when my boyfriend saw a young woman’s whole HAND IN MY GIRLFRIENDS PURSE. Luckily my bf caught the thief’s hand in my besties purse and wasn’t able to get anything out. But we got kicked out for causing a scene -BUT not the thieves THEY STAYED BEHIND. Really makes you wonder if the people working there aren’t in on the criminal activity. anyway I don’t care Im writing this the night of because I want people to know that it’s the women that go there. It was an older lady and a woman in her early 30s so watch out.

Went on a Sat night...it has to be the best dance spot in Los Angeles, since I found La Cita. If you want a real place to dance, packed dancefloor, reasonably priced drinks, and a Dj who is DAMN good and had the crowd going from 11p to 2am, then this is the place to be!! And good vibes too, no Hollywood drama or posers, just real LA people who know how to have a good time. And again, Dj Cook is the music curator and well worth the visit if ur a Dj urself and wanna get inspired. Even if dancing aint ur thing, they gotta a nice patio spot right by the dj, so you can vibe to the music and have a smoke. My new favorite spot in LA, hands down!!!

My friends and I went here on Thursday night (12/28/23). We arrived around 10pm so it wasn’t too crowded yet, considering it being a very small space. The drinks were not great, granted we only had time to try one before the real problem started. Along the wall of the small dance floor, there is a ledge where they had lit candles sitting on. My friend has long hair and she had her back towards the wall while we were on the dance floor. Unfortunately, her hair caught fire from one of these poorly placed candles. She suffered a scalp burn and some of her hair fell out. None of the staff came to check on her even though according to the bouncer, there were multiple reports of the smell of something on fire. There was no manager on site to speak to and we were simply told by one of the bartenders to write an email if we wanted to complain. Although this was an accident, it could have been prevented. There shouldn’t be fire on a dance floor, especially when you’re serving alcohol. The fact that there was no manger on site is ridiculous.

Please dont come here. They pick pocket purses, steal phones and wallets. Please dont comee and they only have DJ tuesday and sunday…
