Larsen's Grill -- Oxnard

First of all, great food! I did not dress in super nice clothes, but everyone was friendly and the service was great. Definitely a great place to go anytime, and especially if you are dressed up and ready to seize the day. I was there on a slow night, so plenty of tables, no wait, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience. I was on travel in the Oxnard area, and I plan to add Larsen's to the list of places I need to visit again. Thank you! Parking: Park behind the restaurant. Plenty of open spots, short walk. Street parking in front is difficult to secure.

5-Star service across the board from the staff and management team and the food was fantastic. We chose the Chilean Sea Bass and the Wet, Aged Prime Filet Mignon entrees and both were delicious.

It's actually good. Chicken is missing the flavor, but the steak is really good, and the lobster good drinks environment is good. Got a call from the restaurant days after to follow up on my visit, not bad.

I was a little nervous when we got to the restaurant as there was a line waiting to get in. The line was because the restaurant did not open until 5pm. We had 5.15 reservations and we were seated on time. We were immediately greeted by our server Fernande. She was extremely friendly. We ordered cocktails to start.My wife had her favorite salad the wedge. She was very pleased that she ordered the wedge because she said it was the best wedge she had ever had and believe me she has eaten many wedge salads, some at the finest restaurants in L.A.,N.YC, and San Francisco. I had the prime rib and loaded baked potato. Prime rib was cooked perfectly and the potato was double baked so it had the perfect crunchy skin. For dessert we shared the creme Brule not the best just o.k. our server Fernande came back to the table numerous times to make c sure everyone was just right. Thank you Fernande for helping us bring in the new year perfectly. Then we were off to some live music and dancing.
