Lapeer Steak and Seafood

Unexpected upcharge on drinks. Food and service was above average, which is something you would expect in this area and price point. When the bill came, we were a bit put off by the $2/ice block upcharge for each old fashioned we ordered in addition to the premium bourbon we selected. The fact that you would make a proper old fashioned with crushed ice was a bit puzzling. While the amount was insignificant to the $500 we spent for a party of four, I would have expected to be informed about the charge upfront. Days later, it isn’t the great dinner that we’re all talking about, but rather how we spent $14 on ice for seven drinks. At this price point, it’s the little details that matter. That’s my bougie first-world problem review.

Came here for their lobster roll only to find out it's not on their winter menu. So I tried their crusted trout entree. Awful dish with the cauliflower puree that was very cheesy, and the roasted veggies were smeared with this awful cheese. The fish had a pool of butter as it's base - just floating like a grease pool. And then the trout filet placed on top of all this mess, with almond slices and raisins. One bite into the fish and I wondered why the fish was so bland, amid all that decoration. Never did I push the dish away from me so quickly. Overpriced underwhelming dish. The staff didn't ask me why I didnt touch my dish - they just asked if I needed a box. Very disappointed!

Nice spot. Service was great (shout to our server Arel). Food was decent. We had the lamb specials and the ribeye. Cauliflower side was okay. The crab gratin was excellent. Calamari was good. Crème brûlée was perfect.

We had an amazing experience here for a dinner date night. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful. Lauren, the general manager, went above and beyond by seating us at our table and checking in multiple times throughout the evening. The shrimp toast recommended by our fantastic server, Lexi, is to die for. I’m still thinking about this starter weeks later. My husband also got the oysters not pictured and said they were perfect. The demonico ribeye was cooked beautifully and paired well with the roasted garlic and roasted mushrooms. And you can’t skip out on the baked shells and cheese. We got the chocolate cake to go and I imagine it was delicious considering my husband finished it before I could try a bite! I would definitely recommend going here if you are interested in a nice ambiance steak or seafood meal. The staff is incredible!

It was out first time dining here. The shrimp toast was delicious, however the calamari was so salty that it was nearly inedible. The Trout was recommended by the waitstaff, but it came out presenting as a plate of brown mush. The filet was ok, slightly overcooked when MR was requested. The scalloped potato's were probably the best thing we ate. Unlike some reviews, we thought the portions were very generous. Not sure we'd give it another try. Our experience didn't meet the numerous 5 star reviews.

Lapeer second Seafood is one of the most beautiful and luxurious restaurants in all about Alpharetta and Atlanta for that matter. With one of the largest bars with more wine and liquor exotic selections and anyone else in the city. The steak is one of a kind and of the highest quality all of our Seafood is fresh and prepared to order. You won't be disappointed.
