First time trying this restaurant at my office building. Ordered Pho Soup w/ Beef from the menu at $12. The dish came with brisket different from what I expected hence I immediately brought it back to check if they could remove it and probably replace with beef but was rejected. I had higher hopes of the meal as the staff were all Vietnamese but was disappointed. The beef had a weird texture to it and beef balls ‘raw beefy’ taste was very strong. The soup was so-so only. I didn’t experienced much hygiene issues other than a couple of flies and a bird entering the kitchen and left with food in its mouth .
Avoid at all cost It seems like the food served is overnight. The pork is harder then the table.
The chicken for Pho Chicken Soup still has the fridge texture; abit stiff. Good effort but not the best Vietnam cuisine in town. My spouse insist ice milked coffee is nice.
Nice, warm and filling Banh Mi at an affordable price. Will come back to try their other items too
If you're used to Vietnamese dishes, this one is probably average, with some home made familiarity. For the price paid, it's still worth it, barely, in my opinion. Service is not that great either, sadly.
Whatever comments you have read most likely could be true but it's really relative. I can't speak for the other dishes but for 6 months of frequenting them at least 3 times per week, ravaging on their chicken/beef pho soup and occasionally their rice rolls, I rate the food 7/10 all because of the broth. What you read about hygiene is true on the visual scheme of things. But, I haven't found any aliens in my soup, neither have I caught them prepping my food in an unhygienic manner yet..(maybe I just don't wanna know) You may skip the coffee. Well, its good food for everyday sustenance.
