I have limited Ethiopian food experience but I’m glad I tried Langano Skies. Service was exceptional as the lady was very helpful and her passion and character was the highlight. In terms of food, I tried the Yebeg Tibs. I don’t typically like sour food but the Injera was really good. The Yebeg Tibs went well with the Injera. That being said, I agree with the lady that the platter experience is the full experience so I’d recommend trying that. Overall, I’d give them 8.8/10. Note that they have moved to Old Country Inn since the pandemic.
The food was so good! One of the better restaurants in Edmonton! The service was also excellent. We will be back! :)
Paul and Amsale have been offering up the highest quality Ethiopian cuisine for almost twenty years. It is my favourite restaurant in the city. Recently they have moved from their Whyte Avenue location to Barb and Ernie’s restaurant on 99 Street and 72 Avenue. You can enjoy takeout from Thursday - Saturday starting at 4:30 pm and they also have a dine -in event once a month on the third Friday. They are also having a special New Year’s Eve Buffet. Can’t wait!!!
Amazing food! Best Ethiopian food in the city! Such friendly staff!
Amazing Ethiopian food with great service! I recommend the yemisir kik wot with EXTRA Injeera. You will not be disappointed
This is one of the best restaurants in Edmonton for Vegan food!
You have got to try this place! We had family visiting (from another continent) and, as a part of experiencing Edmonton, decided to sample a fusillade of great cuisines that the city has to offer. After three weeks of eating out family consensus went overwhelmingly in favour of Langano Skies as the tastiest food we have had during the visit. Stop reading this and order from Langano Skies!
