I recently dined at Landry's on a Saturday during the technical off-season. While the service was prompt and courteous, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. Despite Landry's prestigious name, the food failed to impress. The dishes were average at best and didn't justify the high prices. While the service was a highlight, the lackluster food quality dampened the overall experience. For a restaurant with Landry's reputation, I had higher expectations.
Real friendly staff very polite and helpful
The meal was absolutely delicious! I have a shellfish allergy the manager came to my table personally and tailor made my order the Red Fish with garlic butter sauce was amszing my fiancé had the chicken alfredo the sauce was homemade and perfectly textured and seasoned the cooks definitely are top notch! The drinks were big and refreshing as well as strong (which is always a plus ) all this topped off by being served by one of the most attentive knowledgeable and funny servers ever overall we had a great visit they really made us feel like family and that our patronage was very appreciated I’ll definitely go here everytime I visit Myrtle Beach
Recently visited Landry’s. Raw oysters were excellent! Next was salad, fish tacos and shrimp sandwich. Serving presentation, size of our orders and friendly staff were top notch. Overall a great experience.
I had gator and it was really good . My husband had fried in a Sub and he enjoyed it.
We went to dinner here last minute because we were at Broadway at the beach beach one evening. The restaurant had maybe five tables so they were definitely not busy. Our waitress was very sweet, but very knowledgeable of the menu. She said she had never eaten there before lol. a couple of us have a gluten allergy and so we were inquiring about the gluten-free options. The manager I believe her name was Laura Lynn she was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable of what the kitchen could do with allergies and accommodated us very well. Although the service was pretty good, our meal did take nearly an hour to come out . I had the scallops and I had to cut my scallops with my knife. The dish was flavorful but definitely overcooked especially for the price. We ended up spending for just the two of us on a meal $122 before the tip. My wife got a fish and it was also very overcooked. The shrimp cocktail was not good. It was $16 for I believe six medium sized shrimp that tasted kind of rubbery. We definitely won’t be back but I wanted to make sure to give good recognition to the manager that evening.
Landry's has a super happy hour. I consider it a medium price. The menu has great choices and can easily create a meal for happy hour. Add a few bourbon and coke's, and oh what a night!
Went here in the summer with my son but I didn't do a review then, sorry. My son ordered a dish with cheese but he's lactose intolerant and the manage came out with a different plate free of charge. Exceptional service. Excellent food, especially the salmon appetizer. I tell ppl about this place all the time.
