Staff was amazing, food was delicious one plate was a little soggy with syrup on arrival but who can truly complain about sweet treats! Wide selection, wonderful experience and cold milk! Great mimosas A spiky bloody Mary and here we are craving La Lou all over again

Lovely experience. Food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. Had breakfast here with my husband, and 15 month old daughter. My husband had the lemon ricotta pancakes, with cheese grits and I had the Folsom omelette with potatoes, and English muffin. Amazeballs! We all thoroughly enjoyed the smothered Brie for appetizer, which is baked Brie smothered in apples, pecans, walnuts raisins and honey.Just delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Thank y’all for a lovely dining experience.

I highly recommend the La Lou special Crab Cake Napoleon! It is so delicious! I live in Algiers and I cross the lake to eat that dish!

This is a great little restaurant to visit once in a while, or if you're visiting from out of town. Or if you just would like to buy an omelet for the price of a few dozen eggs at the grocery store. Don't get me wrong, the omelets are amazing. But most people couldn't afford to eat breakfast here a few times a week. Service has always been great, even when it was packed to the walls. My go to is the Abita Springs omelet. I have been known to get the chicken and waffles though. Can't go wrong with either.
