One of my favorite things about my apartment is how close it is to Laksa. Their garlic noodles are seriously addictive—flavorful, comforting, and just straight up delicious! Their 5-spice chicken is tasty and fried without breading, which is honestly one of the best ways to cook chicken, if you ask me. It’s a nice quiet space, not usually super busy. Good for a quiet, down-to-earth dinner with friends or a quick meal to-go.
We were really hungry and had high hopes from the outside. Inside the restaurant is in disarray. Not the kind of place you’d want to sit and eat. We should have gone somewhere else but decided to do take out instead. We got the imperial rolls, beef pho, and chicken curry noodle soup. The imperial were passable but both soups were really disappointing and not good. The pho was practically flavorless and the curry was weird, thin, and not right at all. We wouldn’t go back.
Laksa is a good example of simple but delicious. The owners Jenny and Bill always take care of us. Everything we tried was good but some of my favorites are, Sauteed string beans - Very flavorful sauce and garlicky in a good way Garlic noodles w/ pork chop or 5 spice chicken- Charred BBQ meats are cooked to perfection and has good charred flavor to top it off. The garlic noodles have good texture and garlic flavor. The 5 spice chicken the meat is always tender and flavorful and the skin is nice and crispy. Talk to Jenny and Bill, they're always nice and accommodating if you have any questions or want to customize your order they will try to make it happen.
Food is bland, music is awful (loud fm radio), service is unwelcoming half the time
