It's proper bbq, with good sides to go with the meal.

I will never visit this place again I came in asked for a menu and decided to sit outside to enjoy view. I was waiting at the table over 25 minutes waiters act like I didn’t exist as they came out to check/serve the other guests but not once came over to say anything to me or to even to offer a glass of water. As I visit many places in ATLANTA this was by far the worst restaurant I ever had a bad experience I highly recommend that if you’re trying to visit this restaurant be mindful of being BLACK it’s not very welcoming either.

Cobb salad was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Good food and love being able to sit outdoors. There was also live music the night we went which made it even better.

Was looking forward to going here for lunch based on the good reviews I had seen and it's pretty close to my home. The interior was a bit bland and wait staff were confused and mostly incompetent. We waited a while before anyone came to greet us, there were 2 servers and only 4 tables for a total of about 12 people so it wasn't because they were very busy. Ordered drinks which took a good 10-15 minutes and they were fair...the food was not bad but wasn't good either, we ordered the chicken pimento and collard patty melt and a side of Mac and cheese. The food took a while to come out and actually the waitress brought our food out and then took it away to another table outside, then back to the front expo before bringing it back to our table, as I said earlier the staff seemed dazed and confused. We told the waitress we were sharing the sandwich, normally the kitchen would cut the sandwich in half, but it came out whole on a metal tray with no paper liner or silverware. We asked for silverware and the waitress brought over 2 forks but no knife. I got up And asked for one but was told they only had to-go plastic knives (which would certainly not cut a thick Texas toast sandwich in half) so we just handed it back and forth to share. The sandwich was okay, the smoked chicken was overcooked and might have been from the day before. The Mac and cheese tasted good but not fresh. I'm not a fan of giving bad reviews but this is one that was deserved...I hope they can work out these issues, improve and thrive.

Wow....they've improved a whole lot! I went here right after they opened and it wasn't that great. It was just odd and didn't make sense. It'd still out of.the box for BBQ. Definitely not traditional. It tastes incredible and the food is tender they have definitely improved their recipies and techniques. It's absolutely amazing. All of it. If it's been a while go again! But not all at once because parking is terrible. Also...personally I'd like to see okra as a side.
