It's the blessed month of Ramzan. Isn't it time to be truly thankful to the Almighty? Who made you a restaurant owner. Who gave so much to you and to your family. Who causes customers to be directed to your restaurant while it's easy for Allah to direct them away from your place, like what House of Chicken is experiencing. Empty tables. Consider the reviews herein. It's not who is impressed with your food, but it's a question of inferring who is most frustrated. And if the frustration graph is getting intensified over time. Bcos, if it is, time for you to wake up from your deep slumber and take action. Bcos if you don't, then first you will close down and after a few months we will see a Sidhu sweets or Sandhu nankeen board on your place saying they are operating under the erstwhile Lahori name (like Sun farm is operating for Gulberg) Among all the items mentioned in the esteemed reviews contained herein, the one missed is about your famed Chicken haleem. There was once upon a time when it was thee best. Hands down. I got this recently to break fast and it had tons of Haldi. Salt, chili mess still makes some limited sense. But Haldi???? Unless someone is blind why would you actually pour in such amount of Haldi? Think. Think even more. Actually, reflect carefully. What was your position before you came to Canada and what did this country make you. And decide for yourself, if this is the right way for you to give back to the very community that made you what you are.
Halwa puri buffet is a must try!
The food is great for the most part but the customer service is terrible. They have a few young Indian girls working there who don't speak or understand English fluently, don't greet you when you walk in, don't smile and don't have the patience to wait when you are undecided about your order. The owner definitely needs to retrain or hire new staff that will make the atmosphere more welcoming. Prices are also a bit high for the portions you receive.
Mainly go here for the weekend brunch. Decent price for the ok food. Often times it's missing enough seasoning, because of the bulk prep to feed the mad weekend rush. Other items on the menu we've ordered from, are OK! Nothing to write home about.
