Amazing hidden gem for Spanish food on the Southside!!!!!! Many restaurants are loud and rambunctious now, it is very nice, quiet, and mellow here. Not the place to go if you're looking to get rowdy and party. Highly recommend to people who are sensitive to noisy places. Kid-friendliness: Not really the place to go with tiny tots who need to get out a lot of energy. It is a more quiet place.

They have new shrimp empanada that is great. It's a wonderful place to eat, it's so relaxing there after a long day. The food is great.

The food was delicious overall. The bread and the spread was awesome... empanadas were so flaky. I prefer the beef. The gamba shrimp appetizer was so flavorful and full of garlic and comes with bread so that's so enough pan if you watching the carbs. You won't be able to stop yourself from dipping in the sauce. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the paella as much...it was salty but I think it's the variety of seafood that takes it over the edge, monk fish, clams, shrimp etc. I had both the margarita and sangria. Neither were overly sweet. I'd get a red wine next time I'm there, if they have a Malbec. Second time going and had the #16 salad which is more like an antipasto with mozzarella and salami mixed with greens and an Italian dressing. Super fresh and enjoyable. I can just go have that salad, the gamba shrimp and the complimentary soup and bread they give you. Perfect meal! Still sharable or leftovers

An incredible paella in a spectacular place. You must try the garlic bread, which is exquisite and also the soup of the day is very tasty. I also recommend the fried calamari or if you want, the meat "pincho" are very good and also the empanadas which are delicious. And their house sauces are unique.

10/10 place!! Stopped by with my family the other day and the service and food were like no other! I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was delicious. We had no complaints and will be returning soon.

My family and I had a wonderful experience! The service was very attentive and friendly. I could tell they took special care with every dish they serviced. The meatballs and sauce was cheesy and delicious. The garlic bread was toasted to perfection. I live pretty far but I’d make the drive back to enjoy a wonderful meal again! 10/10 would recommend you try the food!

Food was delicious and service was top tier! Their empanadas were full of flavor and bigger than expected. I will be coming back even though I live an hour away. It’s worth it

Excellent food w awesome service. Blue Island snagged a winner w this one. It's very unassuming and quite humble in everything it offers, except the food...the food is bold and memorable. I'm so glad we visited. We will be back again.
