Charming place to stop in during the middle of the week and have a cup of coffee and a delicious fat slice of olive oil cake!

My favorite hotel in San Diego. Excellent prices, unmatched views of the ocean, great location in downtown La Jolla. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Whether you’re visiting SD on vacation, professionally, or just drove up for the day, La Valencia is a total vibe. Their patio has been utilized many times for business events and the service from the team is nothing short of exceptional. Rooms: Take your pick, all rooms here are stunning and the hotel is a fun little maze to navigate. Nearby activities: Beaches, seal spotting, architecture GALORE. Safety: Felt incredible safe. Wore my nice watches around and never once felt scared! Walkability: La Jolla is a runners dream. Food & drinks: Best breakfast in SD. Excellent restaurants in the vicinity!

We actually just stopped by their restaurant for the sunset view and cocktails. Neither disappointed!!

We actually came for the Whaling Bar. Drinks were very good and so was the service.

The best place to get brunch in La Jolla. Stunning views, excellent service and delicious food.
