Had a lot of crushed bones in the sausage kolache, lost my appetite, they apologized though
I’ve been a loyal customer here since 2010. I moved away for 5 yrs and came back to the Addison area and am close to this bakery again and the enhancements in the last few years have been even better. Quality and taste continues to be 10/10, consistent, fresh. My go tos are the spinach quiche, which now has a combo and their house salad is delicious, I’d love to take their house dressing in a bottle. Good variety of veggies, mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes too so this is not your average house salad. Ham & cheese croissants are still beyond delicious. And you can’t go wrong with the sandwiches, the pork tenderloin, chicken tarragon and even a simple turkey&cheese is still delicious. Now that I can order for delivery it’s dangerous for my wallet but I will always be a huge fan of this hidden gem.
Best veggie sandwich I ever had
We came here for breakfast Saturday morning. I wish the owners would take advantage of the beautiful and cozy place they have. As it is, this is not a place to dine-in. We came in and we stood there for a minute, not knowing if we had to be seated. We eventually sat ourselves at a table. The service was awful. You have to order at the register, which no one mentioned. Not even the lady that brought us a plate with sweet bread… *wrapped in foil.*. The cashier that took our order did not know anything about the menu. This is a European style bakery, but it honestly looks like the business is just fully dependent on DoorDash and Grubhub orders and doesn’t care much for people that want to dine in. This being a cafe, I was expecting a coffee variety. They had no decaf. My boyfriend can’t drink caffeinated, so he ended up getting a tea, that “they thought was decaf.” They proceeded to bring me a cup of hot water and pointed me to the teabags. The sandwiches were okay. I asked for a warm roast beef sandwich, but it came cold. Their logo says they’re passionate about making bread, or something of the sort. Main reason we decided to come… well, there’s not a single bread out there. I was expecting to walk in and be overwhelmed by the smell of fresh bread, but nothing. So much potential, but sadly a bad experience. Dietary restrictions: They should have decaf options and lactose free options.
This place is truly a gem. The penne bolognese is some of the best pasta I’ve tried in Dallas. Anything you order here is really good. Even the little cubes of chicken in your sandwich taste amazing! Their chocolate brownie cookie is legendary. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. I’ve been 3-4 times and will keep returning! Located next to a loading dock/warehouse near Addison Airport.
I love this local bakery. Couldn't resist some bread AND a slice of carrot cake.
You have to come and experience it for yourself. Delicious
