La Scala Ristorante

I was a single diner, traveling with no reservation. The hostess was very friendly and was able to find a table. The restaurant was a block from my room, so it was perfect for me. The food was classical and regional Italian. I had the Carpaccio with Arugula, Romano, capers, and truffle oil. Everything was presented perfectly. My only preference would be a little more salt on the chilled beef, and that was solved by the server bringing a small plate of sea salt. That was my the end of any of my own observations of anything remotely negative. The Goats cheese tower with sautéed baby spinach and pickled red onion was crusted in pankp and mixed herbs with a drizzle of balsamic glaze. The Lamb Saltinbocca was a feature that night and was perfectly seasoned, the baby veg cooked and seasoned perfectly. The dauphinoise was firm and topped with a buttered gratin. Honestly, I could have made meals of the accompaniments. Cheers to the staff and managment this expierence seemed to exude seemless and effortless service on my end. I am well aware the chaos and respect the attention detail La Scala affords its guest!

We were recommended to LaScala from family, and came there to celebrate her birthday from Charleston, SC. The birthday girl was offered champagne and was approached as if this would be complimentary, and when our check came she was charged for said beverage. We all agreed we have never been to an Italian restaurant where everyone finishes their entire plate and left hungry. LaScala was a one and done for us.

What an awesome dining EXPERIENCE! In February, we had a party of six to celebrate my mother's birthday. We made our reservation in advance. Elena, the GM, greeted us and made us feel at home. We were quickly seated and the wait staff immediately took great care of us. Our drinks and food orders were all unique. Each plate's flavors were memorable, so memorable that we ended up sharing amongst ourselves. Over the years the food quality has continued to improve, it has reached a high point for sure. Thank you to the Chef, wow! The wait staff was exceptional and well mannered, the service and food quality was top-notch. My mother's birthday evening went without a hitch. The owners, Jeff and Donald happened to be in the restaurant and stopped by to wish her a happy birthday! What a treat, complete gentlemen. The mansion isn't just a restaurant, it is clearly a meticulously historical renovated home. The owner's vision and passion bled through every detail from the entryway, the live singer in the parlor, the unique bar, food, staff, and the special procured furnishings. What an experience! Dietary restrictions: We had a few minor requests due to personal health issues. Each request was taken care of and noted by the staff. The kitchen found work around and the plates were still delicious.

We came to la Escala for a very special ocasión our sons 13 birthday finally teen , the experience was amazing, Elena the General manager was amazing, they even prepared a special Italian dish fresh from scratch since they didn’t had it on the menu and my son really wanted . The lobster with filet mignon amazing, the lamp, wine drinks, not to mention the place is gorgeous, best Italian restaurant we have ever been. ( one small suggestion, to have a couple more pasta options on the menu) but oh god amazing place we can’t wait to come back to savannah to eat here again. Thank you Elena for making it so especial to us.

La Scala restaurant was by far the best restaurant experience in Savannah. The staff was friendly. The Server, Alberto, was awesome. Perfect ambiance, perfect atmosphere, perfect food. Everything was perfect. We definitely will be back

An incredible dining experience for any occasion. We had the opportunity to experience dining in the wine cellar. AJ and KiKi served us with incredible knowledge of our wine and menu selections. The preparation and beauty of the meal from the kitchen to the table was beauty on the plate and savory delicious. Thanks for the absolute best dining experience ever.

This place was beautiful! I went here for a wedding. The vibes of the place we're amazing and the food was to die for, the staff we're super friendly! Especially the bar ladies. Definitely recommend coming, even just for the restaurant Parking: Parking is a bit difficult as there is just about 6 spaces in the back, which I would guess is for workers, so you would either have to pay for parking at a garage or search around for an empty one nearby
