Wanted to have something delicious from here since it's the talk of many blogs. What a disappointment from the beginning. Should have used that as a sign, but i wanted to give this patisserie a try so bad. #1 the staff was off putting. #2 the pastries were bland and stale, what a waste of money. Perhaps the baker was having an off day, i can't say, but my experience was absolutely a bust. I took a bit and ended up spitting it out mid chew, just couldn't go through with it. Ya live and you learn.
awesome food and even better staff, would recommend for couples too
Don't recommend this, croissants were worse than mediocre
Monday mornings are great when you start here
Bought some old, hard, smelling of fridge eclairs and cakes. Because I live close by and I am desperate for good pastries I went there a second time and specifically asked if the eclairs are fresh. Bought them again and again they were just old smelly tasteless things. No thanks!
The new ownership is bringing down the lovely concept of the former la Pâtisserie. Viennoiseries too dry and rancid taste, macarons too sweet, even the coffee was a disappointment. Adieu for good.
Great, delicate macaroons nestled amongst a busy area. Super aesthetic decor, and right next to the Welcome To Austin mural. Grab a treat and a photo in one space.
One employee for ordering drink making serving food. Painfully slow
