La Pizza & La Pasta

You want a fast deciduous Italian lunch in Chelsea, pay Eatly a visit and head to La Pizza & La Pasta. We were sat down during lunch hour quickly and finished our meal in under an hour. Pictured is the salsicciotta pizza and the fettuccine al burro di tartufo e parmigiano with extra truffle. Both were perfect. Our server made sure everything came out promptly and was still attentive. He even got us into dessert afterwards which was an amazing chocolate and Nutella gelato called coppa con cioccolato & nocciola. Also just a fun time walking around and looking at all the great ingredients throughout the store if you need to kill some time.

good afternoon I went to celebrate my birthday and I loved all the food and the waitress was very kind she has a charisma she treated us very well her name is Melissa I loved it I have never felt so good with the treatment that she gave us 100% love this place ♥️

We were in NYC for a few days and stopped in for a quick bite and to pick up a few Italian specialty items and decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing some really satisfied customers. Following a short wait, that went fast as we shopped and browse the whole of Eataly, we were seated and the professional staff took over. We ordered the Focaccia Bianca (rosemary bread with olive oil), Arancini (rice balls with peas), Insalata Colorata with Chicken (salad with chicken with a wonderful herbed lemon vinaigrette), Pizza Prosciutto E Rucola (pizza with amazing mozzarella cheese, prosciutto and arugula), and Fettuccine Al Burro Di Tartufo E Parmigano (pasta in a truffle cream sauce). All dishes were amazing and made us miss living in NYC area. The food was hot, perfectly seasoned and matched the description on the menu and from the very helpful staff. The salad with the chicken, shown in the picture, was incredible. The chicken had a wonderful grilled smoke taste and went so well with the shaved vegetables and lemon vinaigrette. About the only thing we should have requested is that we like a tomato sauce or gravy with Arancini. I am certain if we asked they would have provided. The service matched the meal. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, helpful, and professional. The menu price actually quite reasonable for the quality and service. We drank still water as we were thirsty from a long day of travel, and had our eyes on some desert treats from Eataly so we passed on dessert. The total check with tip was ~$130. Pretty amazing for this quality of meal in NYC. We will definitely return next trip in to try more delicious dishes and maybe a glass or two of vino and some desert.

Hello, so I really don’t write reviews of any restaurant but today was such an amazing day I was having an awful afternoon and i go to this restaurant to try it My waitress was called Melissa She was the besttt waitress ever She treated me with so much respect,kindness,empathy She is an outgoing girl Not for nothing but no one treated me how she did She is so professional The food was amazing 10/10 Service 10/10 NOT FOR NOTHING SHE SHOULD GET A RAISE GOD BLESS YOU MELISSA KEEP HAVING AN AMAZING HEART

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! This restaurant is scamming customers on Grubhub/Seamless - they labeled themselves as Joe's Pizza so they can upcharge the hell out of their below average pizza. I ordered a vodka slice and received a plain slice, the diet coke can was absolutely covered in a black dust - truly disappointing.

La Pizza & La Pasta at Eataly in the Flatiron district is a restaurant that has some great food but is brought down incredibly far by chaos and poor service. You have some amazing and flavorful Italian classics on the menu, but even basics like focaccia seem to be out every time we go. It’s chaos from the moment you try to check in at the host stand to getting you to your packed and crowded table and then good luck eventually getting your order taken and your food served. Things like drink refills are a dream - and this is during a weekday mid-afternoon when it should be slower. If you can go to the Downtown Eataly you will have a much better experience overall with the same great food.
