La Piazza Cucina Italiana

Hands down the best Italian food I'm Springfield, IL. My husband and I each got an appetizer (the fried calamari and the January special, portobello mushroom), the trapanese pasta, and the canneloni al forno. Magnificent.

Authentic Italian food at very reasonable prices. The food was delicious and service excellent! Family owned business. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely delish food and a great quiet place with a fabulous atmosphere.

Easily the best pizza in town, and easily the most authentic pizza I've ever had outside of Italy. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The restaurant itself isn't anything special, but serves its purpose well. I love that the owner has a ton of pictures of him and his family in Italy on the walls. The Carbonara is perhaps my favourite pizza ever, never thought eggs on a pizza would be good but here we are. What a time to be alive.

One of my favorite places to go downtown. Possibly the most authentic Italian food in town. I had the linguini alfredo and it was delicious!
