La Petite French Bakery

I am very much going against the community on this one. As anyone can see the bakery has nearly 5 stars, and honestly the food that I tried was pretty darn good so I can get it. However, my issue is with the service. I had been hunting down a bakery that would have fresh breads and pastries in hopes of supporting a local place rather than having to go to big grocery stores for such things and I found this place. I was so ecstatic and I saw their facebook page said that they sold fish and chips on Thurs. and Fri. starting at noon. That got me even more happy as the only place for fish and chips around here is Red Lobster, and once again I would much rather support a local buisness. I arrived at about 12:10-12:15 and as I went to order the owner said that he will not be taking any more orders for the lunch special as he has had orders for it since 11:30... It is his business so whatever he says go and that is okay, he has that right, but I just cannot help but feel it is poor service. The lunch special was advertised as starting at noon, so essentially 15 minutes of a lunch special and then no more? To turn away a prospective customer just feels iffy to me. I was sad as I was really wanting to find a new local place for fish and chips that I would frequent at least once a week but I guess I will stick to Red Lobster because you won't get turned away there at least. I did end up still buying a couple baked goods as I had taken the time to come and the baked goods were solid and good for a fair price so there is that at least. Just the service is not for me and I do not see myself returning because of it. The owner was not rude or anything but I just feel maybe if it is too much of a challenge to keep up with the lunch special orders hiring an extra hand or preparing batches in advance so prospective customers are not turned away is worth the sacrifice of everything be prepped to order. I can imagine if you are just seeking baked goods going early in the morning for some good breakfast it is worth it though, but for the lunch special it is best to take your buisness elsewhere.

Chef is fabulous. Pastries are always top notch. Fresh and delicious. Lunch specials are always good as well.

There food is delicious, but when i went here. There was no place to sit. An ejoy the pastry. I didn't relize they had seats inside In back. Untill i saw the photos. The guy even apologized for the mess, of things piled up That was covering the place where we could sit. Possibly next time i can sit an enjoy my food. I think i just went at a bad time, from what i saw from photos Wheelchair accessibility: Its a very tight entry, however im sure if you really want, you could make it happen.

Couldn't find any poptarts or twinkies, but the EVERYTHING is fire . Get some yum and walk some. It is perfection. RMNP is good hiking,Greeley is great strolling and nibbling. No mooses but absolute YAY!

Egg and Bacon Croissant and a fresh out the oven Chocolate Croissant! The food and the service is always top notch! Wish they were located in my home!

Tried this place for the first time. Fresh baked ham and cheese croissant and raspberry pastry. Best thing I’ve ever tasted! I’m ruined for life now!

My partner and I stopped by on a Sunday morning and got almond croissants fresh out of the oven. They were absolutely delicious and jam packed with marzipan! I came back after I got mochas at the coffee shop on the corner (I believe they have some coffee just not espresso) to buy more croissants for later snacking. I’m hoping next weekend there will be pain au chocolat because we will absolutely be back for more!

Timing in life is everything and we lucked into fresh, warm apple turnovers. Yum! Love the sweet apples and cinnamon tucked into delicate pastry. The croissants are flaky and buttery. Cute shop!
